I am a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician, with over 20 years of experience. After attending University of Minnesota, he completed residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.  To this day, he continues to actively care for patients across a broad spectrum of ED’s, from a Level 1 Trauma Center with comprehensive Stroke & Cardiac care, to a standalone Emergency Departments that have far fewer available resources.  Other experience includes overseeing Hyperbaric chamber patients & providing telehealth clinical care.

I have had the honor of being Medical Director for two Emergency Departments & Air-Medical Transport base stations. Other prior and applicable experience includes serving as Chairman of the Emergency Department, several years on Quality Councils, Medical Executive Committees, and Community Boards. I continuing to serve in some of those roles today, along with being deeply involved in provider education & simulation/training, and extensive work with the EMS community. With that experience, and the two decades inside busy emergency departments, my former clients will tell you I am extremely comfortable working through records & evaluating the treatment given.

My first commitment to you will be to intently listen and review all available documents. Once that is complete, I will reach out and arrange a telephone meeting at your convenience to discuss further questions, thoughts, and concerns. The decision to pursue a medical malpractice case is a difficult one. I am equally happy to serve both Plaintiff & Defense lawyers. Oftentimes, the most rewarding part is simply reviewing a case, and having the honest discussion that despite an unfortunate outcome, there was no breach of standard of care. I do believe this helps everyone involved, even though that may not be understood or agreed upon by all parties ultimately.

Experience includes multiple case reviews, depositions, and work with both plaintiff’s and defense teams.
